Reduced climate and environmental impact

Since our entire production is located in Hillerstorp, Sweden we are focused on optimizing transport to reduce our environmental impact. By improving packaging, pallets, and maximizing fill rates, we ensure more efficient deliveries. We primarily use environmentally certified carriers for shipping, with boat and lorry as our main modes of transport. While express deliveries are sometimes necessary, we aim to minimize air and express freight. We also reduce passenger transport emissions by using video conferencing and adopting eco-friendly company cars in Sweden. Through these efforts, we’re committed to a more sustainable future.

We prioritize sustainability in product design, focusing on minimizing environmental impact throughout the product life cycle while maintaining their key purpose—protecting people. When developing new products, we always consider sustainability without sacrificing performance. In 2022, we introduced our own collision protection system, with all parts being recyclable and easily replaceable to extend the product's lifespan. This ensures both high performance and environmental responsibility.

We focus on optimizing our sourcing processes to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high product quality. We work closely with local suppliers to lower transport emissions and support our region. Strong, long-term partnerships with our suppliers are built on mutual support, open communication, and ethical business practices. We regularly assess suppliers, ensuring they meet our high standards in sustainability, human rights, and safety. By working together, we aim to promote sustainability throughout our supply chain and reduce our overall environmental footprint.

We’ve significantly reduced our use of print materials by adopting a digital-first approach in the marketing department. This shift helps lower our carbon footprint and enhances communication efficiency with clients globally. Through digital tools like online catalogs and training modules, we provide immediate access to essential information while minimizing environmental impact. A key initiative is the digitalization of the Axelent Safety Book, which covers machinery safety laws and regulations. This step is part of our ongoing commitment to reducing print materials and embracing eco-friendly operations.
