With strength and precision, Ferry Svan has chopped and sawn his way to the top of the tree. Ferry competes in the Stihl Timbersports, which is a is an adrenaline-filled and exciting sport in athletic wood cutting. Ferry is now the first Swede who has won a World Championship. He jumped straight into the spotlight last year when he won the gold medal in the Junior World Championships in the odd sport. A total of six disciplines are practiced that require courage, strength and technique. The athletes use sharp axes, a chainsaw with 7.3 horsepower, a two-meter long hand saw and a monster chainsaw with an engine from a jet ski or snowmobile of about 60 horsepower.
Johannes Rydzek is a two-time Olympic champion and six-time World Champion in Nordic Combined. Axelent will accompany the 29-year-old from Oberstdorf (Germany) until beyond the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The relationship between Axelent and Johannes is under a good star. At the World Championships in Falun in 2015, the Axelent logo was on his ski for the very first time - with which he won two gold medals. In 2015, he was also named Germany's Sportsman of the Year as a team and took also an outstanding third place as an individual athlete! His four gold medals at the 2017 World Championships in Lahti, Finland, made him a legend! But that is not all - he was the 2017 Sportsman of the Year and won two gold medals at the 2018 Olympic Games in South Korea. With his sister Coletta Rydzek, Axelent complementing the partnership with the Rydzek family. Axelent is her main sponsor. Coletta competes for the German national team in the cross-country skiing World Cup and won the bronze medal at the 2017 Junior World Championships.
Axelent has accompanied Anna Seidel from Dresden (Germany) for several years. The young short track athlete is the defining athlete in the German team. Not only is she the first German to finish on the podium in World Cup races, she also won a bronze medal at the 2016 European Championships in Sotchi (Russia), at the 2018 European Championships in her hometown of Dresden, and at the 2020 European Championships in Debrecen (Hungary). At the European Championships in Gdansk 2021 she crowns as Vice-European Champion and won two silver and one bronze medal. In addition, she was given the honor of carrying the German flag at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer. Axelent has been supporting Anna since 2014, when she was the youngest German athlete at the Winter Games in Russia. In the meantime, she has competed in her second Olympic Games and can look back on several podium finishes in the World Cup.
Lina Boqvist is a Swedish professional golfer and a member of the Ladies European Tour since 2015. With the support of Axelent Lina is able to play on a professional level. As one of her main goals, Lina wants to celebrate a victory on the Ladies European Tour as a brand ambassador of Axelent.
Mountain biker Sandra Salinger’s athletic endeavours are sponsored by Axelent. Sandra normally works as a marketing manager and in her spare time she follows her passion to be a cyclist. She started mountain biking in 2008, before she competed in road racing. In Sweden, mountain biking is growing but more structure is still needed. The partnership with Sandra has mainly concerned the Cykelvasan bike race.
Axelent has also been involved in team sports, especially in Hockey and Handball. Handball with its key attributes speed, action, fair play, fits perfectly to Axelent own values. At the German team TVB Stuttgart, sports history has been written for several years. A family-run club, supported by a great deal of voluntary commitment, has been involved in the top handball league, the LIQUI MOLY HBL, for over 5 years. A modern fairy tale? More like hard work, with great commitment from everyone involved. Besides this Axelent is a proud official sponsor of IK Sävehof, which is one of Sweden’s most successful handball clubs, with both women’s and men’s teams the reigning Swedish champions. The club is considered the largest handball club in the world, with currently about 2000 members, distributed among four adult teams, 90 youth teams, 160 coaches and 350 officials.
