JU Solar Team

Since 2019, Axelent Group is a proud sponsor of the JU Solar Team, a group of students from Jönköping University who build cars powered entirely by solar energy and compete in the world's largest race for solar-powered cars, the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. The JU Solar Team has participated in this competition since 2013 and holds the position as the leading solar team in Northern Europe. The competition is held in Australia and involves around 50 teams from all over the world traveling from Darwin to Adelaide, a distance of over 300 miles, and crossing the finish line first.

Ferry Svan

Axelent supports timbersport athlete Ferry Svan, whose sport requires precision, strength and a strong focus on safety. Ferry’s dedication and high-performance mindset reflect principles we value in our own work. Through this partnership, we help create the right conditions for Ferry to continue developing at the highest competitive level.

Moa Carlsson

We sponsor professional Thai boxer Moa Carlsson from our home region of Hillerstorp. Thai Boxing" or "Muaythai", as the Thai people call it, is a traditional art of Thai self-defense. It differs from many other fighting styles where elbows, knees, kicks and punches are used. Thus, it is more like a real fight, and is therefore considered superior to all martial arts in self-defense.

The goal of all sponsorship is that Axelent should make a difference for the sponsored individual or team, who will have greater opportunities to practice their sport.

Other sponsorships we support

Beyond our main partnerships, Axelent also supports several local and international initiatives, including:

Charity and social responsibility

At Axelent, we have always looked beyond our own operations and taken responsibility for the communities around us. Since the start of Axelent, social engagement has been a natural part of our long-term commitment to society. Our charity efforts include long-term partnerships in education, humanitarian support and programs that create lasting impact for people in vulnerable situations.

DGSS

Axelent has supported the DGSS orphanage in Egypt for many years, helping children in vulnerable situations gain access to safety, education and long-term support. The orphanage provides small, family-like homes led by dedicated caregivers. Our contribution helps DGSS expand its facilities and offer more children the chance of a better future.

Tappra Barn AB

Axelent is a proud partner of Tappra Barn, a Swedish fundraising foundation that supports children facing serious illness and difficult life situations. Through its network of partner companies, Tappra Barn raises funds to create brighter moments, experiences and support for children and their families when they need it most.

At least 80% of the foundation’s annual surplus goes directly to helping children in need, ensuring that contributions make a real and measurable difference.
