Axelent Group is proud to be the main sponsor of JU Solar Team

Axelent Group is the main sponsor of the JU Solar Team from Jönköping University, continuing a partnership that began in 2019. Since 2012, university students have taken on the challenge of designing and building a car powered entirely by solar energy to compete in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia.

Preparing for the 2025 Challenge

The next race, scheduled for August 2025, will take participants on a 3,022-kilometer journey from Darwin to Adelaide, Australia. Axelent Group is supporting the team by providing resources and expertise to help them develop their next-generation solar car and prepare for this demanding competition.

Since 2019, Axelent Group has been a key supporter of this project. As the team prepares for the upcoming challenge, Axelent is contributing both funding and time to support the students’ efforts to design, build, and compete with their solar-powered car. In 2023, the JU Solar Team reached a significant milestone, finishing 7th in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge—the best placement ever achieved by a Nordic team in the competition’s history.

Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

For Axelent Group, this sponsorship is more than a collaboration—it reflects their dedication to sustainability and innovation. By supporting the JU Solar Team, Axelent is helping to advance renewable energy technology while fostering the next generation of engineers and innovators.

This partnership highlights Axelent Group’s commitment to driving sustainable solutions and supporting Nordic excellence on a global stage. Together, they aim to make meaningful progress toward a greener future.

Stay tuned as Axelent Group and the JU Solar Team continue their journey toward success in the 2025 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.
