From Småland to the world
The Axelent journey began in the 1990s in Hillerstorp, a small town in Småland, Sweden. The idea was straightforward: improve safety for people working with machines and industrial processes. With a strong focus on reducing risks and preventing injuries, we developed solutions that support safer workflows in production, warehouse and logistics environments.
As industries evolved, we evolved with them. Our early efforts laid the foundation for a broader approach to workplace safety. Over time, we expanded our expertise and strengthened our ability to offer solutions that are easy to adapt, simple to work with and reliable in demanding environments.
Growth driven by people
Today, Axelent operates in more than 60 countries and has more than 350 employees. The journey from a small workshop with six people to a global organisation has been significant, but our culture has remained the same. We value teamwork, curiosity and the belief that progress comes from working together.
Even as we grow, we keep our strong sense of community. Collaboration and care for each other remain at the centre of who we are. We often say that Axelent is like a family. The family may be larger today, but the feeling of togetherness is as strong as ever.
